Residents at HC-One’s Eccles care home, Barton Brook, which offers residential, nursing and residential memory care, enjoyed an afternoon in the sun today.
Six people residing on the Brindley House community got out for a good spot of warm fresh air, and everyone said it was brilliant to feel the sun on their faces.
The wellbeing team organised for some fruit juices and mixed cakes for refreshments. Then they had a good chat and even a singalong with everyone!
Marie, on the wellbeing team, remarked, “Residents enjoyed just to get out and feel fresh air again – and it actually being sunny, rather than the typical British weather. This is fantastic, we hope the sun keeps shining!”
