At Aspen Court care home in London, Colleagues Debra McDonald and Sharon Warren have been very busy organising activities for Residents. From story sharing and enjoying different treats to Resident meetings with custard tarts (a favourite treat) there’s not much this home doesn’t do!
As well as this, the home has reported they have welcomed a few new Residents and regularly have a song and dance to lift spirits.
One Colleague explained, “We are looking at ways to adapt and change our activities to support our new and well settled residents”.
The home is also preparing for the annual HC-One gardening competition and have been busy with the potting of new plants; the canal side is now brightened up.
Residents' are very impressed by the new Marquee; one Resident calls it ‘her big ten white house’.
Carmen Warner, Home Manager, said, “Hopefully the Month's ahead will be easier for us all and we can return to somewhat normal. Debra and Sharon continue to give so much wonderful moments to the Residents”.
