Residents at HC-One’s Claremont care home in Ayrshire recently put on their dancing shoes an turned up the record player as they enjoyed a blast from the past.
Residents enjoyed playing old records on the homes record player and reminiscing about old times when they used to go out to clubs and shows. Smash hits were played by some of the most influential artists in the world such as, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, The Drifters, Bob Dylan and more.
Claremont care home Resident, Alex Howie said:” It’s been a long time since I’ve used a record player, it was very fun.”
It brought back memories and Residents always had a story to tell that was linked with each song, “this takes me way back, I love this type of music,” said Resident Margaret Christison as she played songs by The Drifters.
