Jean, a Resident at HC-One’s Ghyll Grove care home enjoyed a chat with a Colleague at the home, as she shared memories she had of her adventures with her husband, Frank.
Jean spoke of the adventures they would enjoy in their younger days, and how she would visit various festivals and concerts with him, made even more special by the fact he was in a band at that time.
Frank regularly played music for Jean on his guitar, and still enjoys playing for her to this day, sharing the joy with other Residents in the home as they each request songs for Frank to play for them in the home’s lounge.
Grace Tshabangu, home manager, commented: “Colleagues and Residents thoroughly enjoy when Frank comes to the home to play for them, it brings back such wonderful memories for Jean.”
