Beautiful day for flower arranging at Tetbury care homeResidents at HC One’s Ilsom House care home spent a relaxing afternoon picking and pressing flowers.

The residents at the Tetbury care home enjoyed an afternoon walking around the beautiful garden, where they picked a selection of different flowers ranging from different coloured roses and stunning fuchsias.

It was a lovely sunny afternoon, blue sky and a gentle breeze with the birds singing from the trees, the perfect day for choosing flowers.

The Residents seemed relaxed talking to one another deciding on which flowers, also stopping to smell the different fragrance of each one.

One of the Residents said “We are so lucky to have such a beautiful big garden with so many different flowers.”

Later the Residents enjoyed arranging some in vases to display in their rooms, as well as the reception and dining room too.

The remaining flowers were put into our flower press for another activity. Overall it was a beautiful day well spent.
