Bingo activity brings back memories for North Shields care home ResidentsColleagues at Redesdale Court hold a Ladies Club which involves the ladies enjoying a few games of Bingo.  Residents love to hear the wellbeing coordinator calling the numbers along with their Bingo sayings "2 little Ducks" 22.

Residents get excited as they get close to winning the line or house and shouting bingo when they win and are awarded with a prize box of chocolates.

Jean a Redesdale Court Resident shared her memories of when she used to work at the Express Bingo Hall in Whitley Bay.  The Hall was large she told the group with a balcony and cafe inside.  At first Jean worked as a Checker and then moved up to a Caller, she loved her job and did this for most of her young life.

Jean took wellbeing coordinator Stacey to her room and showed her a photo of the team that she worked with at the Bingo Hall, she wore a red jacket and black skirt and looked very smart.

Redesdale Court Home Manager Daniel Ridley said: “It is lovely to see our female Residents taking part in the Bingo a very popular pastime enjoyed by lots of our Residents.”
