Residents from Admirals Reach care home in Essex enjoyed an afternoon testing their culinary skills as they took part in a biscuit and cake decorating competition.
Everyone involved enjoyed decorating cakes with icing and sprinkles. The wellbeing team assisted Residents to decorate biscuits as well for a competition, “There were lots of very creative ideas,” explains one team member.
They thoroughly enjoyed the day, but mostly enjoyed tasting the creations at the end, “I loved all the icing and sprinkles, and having a nice cup of tea with my cake too,” explained one Resident.
Home Manager, Lal Mangalam, commented, “We have some very creative Residents here at Admirals Reach and I love seeing what they come up with in our creative activities. The cakes looked beautiful!”
