Care home praise to Middlewich vaccination centresOne Resident from Primrose House care home in Haslington, which offers residential memory care and nursing memory care, was made to feel very welcome and relaxed for his second covid vaccine today.

Peter Barry went for his second covid jab at a vaccination centre in Middlewich, Cheshire, on the minibus with driver Paul and Wellbeing Coordinator, Pauline Roberts. Peter has dementia and is a very nervous person but the staff at the vaccination centre were wonderful and came to him on the minibus and he was seen straight away.

For Peter being able to stay on the bus and avoid the queues helped him stay calm throughout.

Pauline commented "The staff were wonderful.  They came to Peter on the bus and the vaccination went so smoothly".

Home Manager, Alison Brown, remarked, “It was so lovely to hear how the vaccination centre handled Peter.  They seemed to understand the needs of dementia."
