Cedar House remembrance week of activitiesCedar House Residents and staff, in Harefield, Middlesex, enjoyed various Remembrance Day themed fun activities to mark the occasion.

From poppy themed crafts, like poppy cupcake decorating and painting, to remembrance themed fun and games like wartime games and bingo, as well as a wartime sing-along and musical fun. A concert was also shown on the large screen at the home. 

“It was fantastic to see the Residents having so much fun, and the staff joining in on the fun! The activities were a great success and a good time was had by all. The Residents also enjoyed helping to decorate the home for the occasion,” explained one of the care Colleagues at the home. 

Resident Joyce said, “I enjoyed the concert.” And Roger really liked decorating the cupcakes. 

Home Manager, Patience Sibanda, commented, “It was lovely to see the carers getting involved and supporting the residents with the activities.”
