Residents at HC-One’s Ferndale Court were delighted as Colleagues at the home came together months before Christmas, to design and create their own ‘Christmas village’.
Colleagues worked together to gather what would become the ‘Ferndale Christmas village’ as they brought together various figures and objects to create a festive scene.
The home then gathered as the lights were switched on the scene, to the delight of many Residents, as they admired the different figures on the scene.
There are already plans to extend the ‘village’ further for the next Christmas. Relatives expressed how oustanding the scene was, and how festive it made everyone feel.
Iqbal Sidhu, home manager, commented: “The Christmas village has been an amazing idea, not only wonderful to look at but such a great conversation starter for visitors of the home.”
