Residents at HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett were delighted to receive a thoughtful donation from their local Tesco supermarket.
The team at Tesco created a special box of treats which they generously donated to the Residents at Greenways Court, which included hot cross buns, cakes and scones. They also opened a dedicated till so the team from Greenways Court could purchase things that the Residents had requested without taking up time on the normal tills.
Residents were over the moon with their donated treats with one Resident commenting: “Who doesn’t love a hot cross bun with a cuppa, how kind of the team at Tesco to think of us.”
Greenways Court Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek said: “On behalf of everyone at Greenways Court I would like to thank our local Tesco for the kindness, it has really put a smile on all of our faces.”
