Residents regularly help each other out at HC-One’s Greenways Court in Consett and today was no exception as one Resident knitted outfits for another’s favourite doll.
Margaret spent her day knitting a jumper for Olive, a lady in the home who enjoys nursing and cuddling her favourite baby doll.
Upon seeing this, Margaret, who is an expert knitter, thought it would be lovely for the doll to have a spare set of clothes so she set out to make a new jumper for her.
Margaret said: “Olive was delighted with the jumper.
“It was a pleasure to help and I’m looking forward to doing more.”
The jumper came out great and is now the staple outfit of Olive’s beloved doll.
