Cradley Heath Residents craft crepes this Pancake DayResidents are having lots of fun this Shrove Tuesday with both real and pretend pancakes at HC-One’s Roxburgh House care home in Cradley Heath, West Midlands.

Residents took part in an arts and crafts competition to make and decorate their own paper pancake using felt fruit and glitter syrup. Residents voted on who made the most delicious craft crepe.

After a busy afternoon of competitive crafts, the Residents became the judges when Colleagues competed in a game of wits and pancake-flipping.

Tensions were high as Colleagues made the perfect pancake and completed the best toss that they could. After deliberation, Residents declared Senior Carer Amanda as the Roxburgh House champion pancake-flipper.

David Linford, a Resident at the home, said: “It’s hard to pick but Amanda’s pancake has to be the best.”
