Today in the arts and craft club at Elstree Court care home in East Sussex, Residents painted and decorated some ceramic pumpkins.
It was a fun morning filled with music and lots of cups of tea – a perfect combination if you ask anyone at the home. While decorating the ceramic pumpkins, it prompted the Residents to share some memories with Colleagues.
While some made traditional pumpkins, others thought outside the box and used their own creativity to make some wonderful combinations of colours and styles.
The Residents enjoyed the activity as a whole because, “It was quite relaxing,” explained one Resident.
The Home’s Manager, Yolanda De Castro, said, “The pumpkins turned out very good, they were very creative."
