At Barton brook residential, nursing and residential memory care home, in Salford, families are really pleased with the new visiting pod that has allowed indoor visits to go ahead for the first time in over a year.
The new pod gives families and Residents the opportunity to see each other safely and in comfort.
Julie, the niece of Resident Joan, said she was so pleased to be able to have this time with her aunt and it makes all the difference for the Residents to actually spend quality time with their families.
Mr and Mrs Metcalf also spent a pod visit together, and after 65 years of never being apart, this has made all the difference to again be together.
Marie, from the wellbeing team, said, “The visiting pod has already brought so many tears of happiness and joy for Relatives, Residents and Colleagues alike.”
