To end the Summer of 2021, the staff at
Jack Dormand, in Peterlee which offers residential care and nursing care, decided to have one last garden party for the Residents.
The weather was beautiful, and the ‘Living Well' team came together to sing and entertain the Residents.
The kitchen staff made some delicious cakes, and there was also a snack trolley and ice lollies to enjoy and to keep the Residents hydrated in the hot weather, there was a drinks trolley with a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks for them to choose from!
Residents commented saying “Thank you for such a great afternoon” and what they loved the most was that everyone had come together on such a beautiful sunny day and said that the entertainment was fantastic.
Ann Marie Shillaw, Care Home Manager said, “It was a great team effort, and it was so lovely to see the Residents enjoying themselves in the gardens”.
