Falkirk care home Residents celebrate the New YearResidents at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk celebrated the New Year with a lovely warm dinner, reminiscing about 2020 and discussing plans for their future.

Coming out of what has been a difficult year for the home, Residents and Colleagues at Kinnaird Manor had chats with each other about how they hoped there would be more to look forward to in 2021.

Colleagues and Residents spoke about what they cherished most and at the top of that list for everyone was family. It has been a difficult 2020, as many Residents could not see their family as much as they would like, so they look forward to seeing them again in 2021.

In the afternoon, the kitchen staff cooked a lovely homemade steak pie dinner, which Residents loved. They were then treated to a visit from two pipers in the homes garden.

Residents loved hearing and seeing the pipers, it made them feel very patriotic.

Kinnaird Manor Home Manager, Donna Stewart said: “A special thank you to one of our carers Kirsty Middleton who organised for her daughter and her husband to come and play the bagpipes for our Residents on New Year’s Day.”
