Falkirk care home Residents enjoy pamper sessionColleagues at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor care home in Falkirk have treated the lovely female Residents at the home to a relaxing pamper session.

Staff took the time out to try their hand at hairdressing as it has been such a long time since the home’s hairdresser has been able to visit Residents and give them a little spruce up.

Staff and Residents had a nice time chatting and reminiscing about visits to the hairdressers in times gone by and about all the different hairstyles that you can get now. They looked on the Internet at some images of the most popular hairstyles over the years and found some of them very funny.

Kinnaird Manor Resident, Betty said: “It felt lovely to be with people who were so friendly, they have done such a good job, I feel like a new woman.”

Residents really enjoyed the experience which brought back a bit of normality for them. They all appreciated the effort that staff had put in to make them feel extra special and beautiful.

Kinnaird Manor wellbeing coordinator, Julie joked: “Who are these lovely ladies? I don't recognize any of them.”
