Falkirk care home Residents enjoyed Christmassy arts and crafts afternoonResidents at HC-One’s Kinnaird Manor in Falkirk enjoyed a Christmas arts and crafts session recently, creating cards, door hangers and more.

Throughout the last week of November, Residents have been enjoying arts and crafts sessions in the run up to Christmas, so make some beautiful decorations for the home and to create posters for their upcoming Christmas events.

The events Colleagues have planned for Residents include, Christmas pyjama day, movie and a duvet day, a cookies, cocoa and carol service and of course a Christmas jumper day with a special visit from Santa and his elf.

"It feels funny getting organized for Christmas when it really doesn't feel Christmassy at all,” said Kinnaird Resident, Agnes.

The Residents loved the posters that they made, some people wanted to keep them for their own rooms others to send to family.

Stacey, wellbeing coordinator at Kinnard said: "It’s lovely to see so much effort going in to getting organised for Christmas, after all it is the most wonderful time of the year."
