Residents and Colleagues from Wednesbury care home, Dovedale Court, have been practising lots in the run to the filming and production of an extra special video message for Christmas.
Colleagues filmed lots of short video messages and a local company are going to edit it and create a finished result for all Relatives of Dovedale Court Residents.
Dawn Allen, Home Manager, explained, “We have also joined up with the local primary school to record a special encore – ‘You’ve got a friend in my’ which was filmed earlier in the year. We can’t wait to see the final product!”
Residents all came together to learn songs and dress up in everything Christmassy so that they could send the best message to their loved ones. One said, “This is amazing, I’ve never done anything like this before. It’s great!”
Dawn added, “This initiative was suggested by a domestic member of the team. It will be great to see the school and home reunite again.”
