Ghyll Grove gardening galoreSome of the Residents at Ghyll Grove care home, in Basildon, have been working very hard to get the gardens looking beautiful.

With the help from the gardeners, some of the Residents have been out planting, potting and cutting, to have a chance of winning a prize!

Some Residents on Medway House and Chelmer House, haven't been outside like this for a while but actively got involved in it all and they have all got green fingers; some have planted herbs and vegetable and as the weather is getting colder they are wrapping up warm to keep the gardens looking beautiful!

“The Residents really enjoyed being out in the garden in the fresh air and were especially enthusiastic knowing that they were being entered into a competition,” commented a Colleague, “They all had their fingers crossed that they are going to win.”

The Home’s Manager said what a lovely idea that they were entering the competition.

Residents commented that they were happy to keep the gardens nice and that their families can get involved too.
