Good old knit and natter at Sheffield care homeResidents at HC One’s Alexander Court care home enjoyed taking part in the homes ‘knit and natter’ group today.

Some of the ladies at the Sheffield care home hadn’t knitted in years so were keen to give it another go.

They say once you learn to knit you never forget and Winnie, Ann, Margaret and Sandra were all keen to prove this! The Residents commented “it’s just wondering to be able to do this again.”

The four Residents had a lovely time reminiscing of things they would knit in years gone by. They all enjoyed the refreshments provided too and having a good old natter.

Resident Margaret was still able to teach Colleagues how to cast on too, and after all these years she is creating a blanket for the cat that visits the home.

The staff really enjoyed watching what the Residents to create too, they all have a great skill.
