Residents at HC-One’s Grosvenor House care home in Harrogate enjoyed sampling some Chinese cuisine.
The team at Grosvenor House decorated the dining room with Chinese flags and traditional items for Residents to enjoy while the kitchen team prepared a variety of dishes including Chinese curry, stir fry, chow mein and spring rolls.
Residents enjoyed eating the Chinese food and chatting about Chinese cuisine and culture but the highlight for everyone was opening their fortune cookie. One Resident commented: “It has always been a dream of mine to visit China.”
Grosvenor House Home Manager, Susan Nutter said: “It was lovely to see our Residents enjoying the Chinese food and sharing stories.”
