The Moat House celebrated Harvest Festival in style today. Residents and staff transformed their communities with decorations, scarecrows and typical harvest fruit and vegetables.
Everyone bought in tinned veg. toiletries, food & washing products etc. for their chosen local charity: The Food Bank. Sophie, who runs the Food Bank, was very grateful to receive the donations.
Janet, the local Vicar was a welcome sight on the virtual Church Services for Residents who have missed her usual monthly Church Services and Harvest Festival was discussed at the service.
Janet and Home Manager, Noreen Adkin, were very grateful for modern technology and the ability in being able to use video calling to keep everyone in touch.
Noreen chose the winners of the scarecrow competition and presented prizes.
