This month at Waterside care home located on Dudley Road, Residents have been creating harvest arts and crafts.
In preparation for this year’s annual festival, which was hosted by June Gurney, Residents including Alice Arblaster, Marian Withey, Iris Delahay, and Dorothy Poutney, have enjoyed putting their ideas together and come up with a harvest branch masterpiece.
The day was of course finished off with tea, coffee and cakes, and lovely conversation.
Residents said they could remember collecting conkers and kicking leaves in the park when they were children.
The Home Manager commented, “It was clear that everyone enjoyed creating the decorations and getting into the swing of autumn!”
