It was a wonderful day at Aston House care home, in Middlesex, when Helen Cole, who is described as a ‘wonderful Resident’, celebrated her 98th Birthday on 12th December 2020.
Helen was very excited the day before and kept asking the time and day; trying to rush the hours away!
Helen was given a birthday tea party where she was entertained by Colleagues who led a sing-along, (something Helen always enjoys). A birthday cake made by the home's chef, which was a great treat and surprise to Helen. The best part was to see Helen smiling on receiving her gift of a card and opening it to find a photo frame with her photograph in it. Helen thanked everyone for making her day grand and making her feel so special.
Home Manager, Seema Sandeep-Jose, said, "We have a busy activity schedule here and we try to knit in events like this when we can, ensuring we go above and beyond for our Residents.”
