Residents at HC-One’s Hebburn Court care home in Newcastle recently celebrated Bonfire Night with a cosy indoor show and some lovely treats to snack on.
At Hebburn Court on Bonfire Night, Residents gathered around the homes makeshift fire whilst the Home Manager, Dale Summersby sang songs and played his guitar.
Together, Residents and Colleagues enjoyed this celebration and ate their own home-made toasted marshmallows and chocolate, all socially distanced of course.
Once it got dark, Residents headed to the homes garden and made wishes whilst using sparklers and making some sparkler art in the sky. It was such a lovely atmosphere filled with love and laughter and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hebburn Court Manager Dale Summersby said: "I'm in a band called 'Midnight Rose', we couldn't get the band together but I enjoyed playing and singing for our Residents.”
