Valerie, a Colleague at HC-One’s Thamesfield care home, was delighted as she took part in a radio interview with local Radio Berkshire to discuss a new incentive during the current situation.
The incentive involves a local aid group who are looking to produce personalised films for local care homes in the hope of uplifting everyone within care homes during the current circumstances.
The videos will involve adults and children filming themselves as they undergo a short act – singing, dancing or a comedy/magic act, in the hopes to create a showcase for care home Residents.
Valerie enjoyed speaking with the radio station about this idea, remarking: “It’s great that the local community is thinking about us here in the home, we can’t wait to see the film.”
