Staff at the local Costa Coffee shop to Kesteven Grange care home sent a generous donation to the home before they shut.
After the announcement was made that non-essential shops were to be closed due to the current situation, rather than let stock go to waste the staff at Costa Coffee donated it to the Hull care home for staff and Residents to enjoy.
A large amount of milk, cakes, sweet treats and even soup were dropped off at the home to ensure that food was available for everyone to enjoy during this difficult time.
Everybody really enjoyed the donation, especially the delicious cherry Bakewell cakes!
One of the Residents commented “Some people really are just lovely. I can’t wait to have this cake with a lovely cuppa later on!”
Colleagues at the home were exceptionally grateful for the milk donation as they struggled to get any at the shops due to working long hours.
The home wants to send a huge thank-you to Costa Coffee.
