Due to Elstree Court care home not being able to offer safe family visits, and many Residents having a little more time on their hands, some of the Residents wanted to have a religious afternoon.
So, Colleagues gathered some of the favourite Hymns and Psalms together and spent the afternoon singing and reading with Residents which included Mick C, June E, David E, June W and Elaine H.
Colleagues and Residents alike all enjoyed it. They discussed the Psalms and reminisced about going to church in their younger days. Some of them talked about going to church school.
The activity was followed by a nice cup of tea and cakes.
June E, remarked, "it was a nice afternoon as we have not been able to go to church, they brought the church to us!"
