Seabrooke Manor Residents cerebrated Diwali this week.
Diwali is an Indian festival and the home joined in with Indian music being played, musical instruments were played and the Residents and Colleagues danced along with great enthusiasm.
One member of the care team said, “It was a fun and lively day for Residents and Colleagues alike, especially Mr Raj. I had good feedback from him who said he really enjoyed the celebration.”
Residents were smiling and joined in with the event. One said, “They enjoyed the transformation of the atmosphere.”
Gladys Chibanda, Home Manager, remarked, “Our Residents interacted very actively and sang along. It was a lovely celebration!”
