Resident at HC One’s Appleton Manor enjoyed an afternoon of pet therapy today.
Some of the Residents at the Stockport care home enjoyed a little pet therapy.
Residents Martha and Anne enjoyed petting the life like cuddly cat. Martha named the cat Jemima.
Martha and her daughter Janet have always loved cats, Martha says her daughter Janet would take in all the stray cats and feed them.
Martha commented “cats are my favourite animal, I love them all very much.”
The homes wellbeing coordinator Sarah said that the Residents looked really happy and content with the pets, she said “it’s so nice to see our Residents getting comfort from petting our life like pets.”
