Brenda Hargreaves, a Resident at HC One’s Colton Lodges care home, celebrated her big 80th birthday today.
Despite family not being able to visit Brenda in the usual way for her birthday, Colleagues at the Leeds care home made sure that the day was marked and celebrated as best as we can during the pandemic.
The Brenda’s daughter visited the garden meeting area to celebrate with her Mum, on this special day. The home manager commented “It was lovely to see Brenda so happy and smiling throughout the visit with her daughter.”
Daughter provided decorations, cake and of course lots of presents. The staff made sure the gazebo had birthday banners in place.
Although physical contact could not take place, it is evident from the photos, that Brenda still enjoyed her special day.
