Colleagues at HC-One’s Melbury Court care home in Durham recently hosted a Dunelm Surgery flub jab clinic, for staff to get their flu jab alongside their weekly coronavirus swab test.
On Tuesday 8th December, Dunelm Surgery held a flu jab clinic at Melbury Court for all the staff. Staff came out in force to get their flu jab alongside getting their weekly COVID swab.
The management and administrative team led the way getting their flu jabs whilst wearing their flu fighter t shirts. Melbury Court had a 77% uptake on the flu jab this year which is a considerable jump on last years of 7%.
Melbury Court Home Manager Hazel Southern said: “We thought it was a great idea to have it in the home whilst we were getting our COVID swab, it made it accessible for us all.”
“I am delighted so many staff had their flu jab this year. We felt it was the right thing to do.”
