Today Residents at Highclere care home, in Buckinghamshire, made a start on making Christmas tree decoration crafts to hang on the tree when it is put up.
The Residents had a choice of what they wanted to do and, all had chosen two each. They had a choice of paints or pens but all chose to use pens as the detailing was quite small. All that took part, including Joyce Wickes, Margaret Greenslade and Margaret Wilmore had great fun and can’t wait to see them on the tree.
Joyce said, “I’ve never done a tree decoration before.”
Farai Maringa, Home Manager, commented, “It’s good to see our Residents getting involved in the preparations for the festive celebrations.”
