Residents and team members at HC-One’s Kings Park care home in Hurst Cross, Ashton-under-Lyne celebrated National Doughnut Week.
Hosted by The Children’s Trust, National Doughnut Week encourages businesses to sell lots of delicious doughnuts to raise funds and awareness for children with brain injuries and their families.
Residents and team members at Kings Park came together to enjoy some delicious doughnuts along with warm beverages, the team donated money which will be sent to The Children’s Trust. A great time was had by all, with Residents commenting that it nice to enjoy a sweet treat for good cause.
Kings Park Home Manager, Lisa Joy said: “I am pleased that everyone enjoyed our National Doughnut Week celebration, it has raised some money for a wonderful charity.”
