New summerhouse arrives at Middlesex care homeThe lucky Residents at HC-One’s Cedar House care home in Harefield are welcoming the arrival of their new summerhouse today.

The home’s Maintenance Manager, Steve, has been hard at work putting the new house together as Residents excitedly watch on from the windows of the care home.

Colleagues and Residents at the home are very grateful to have received funding for the house, thanks to the continued support of Friends of Cedar House, a volunteer group dedicated to helping the home and its Residents.

Now everyone is excited for the project to be completed and it will certainly get put to good use as the weather starts to heat up again.

Karl, a Resident at the home, said: “I can’t wait to be able to use it.”

The summerhouse will be excellent addition to the home which already boasts a lush garden.

The house will be completed over the coming weeks and everybody is looking forward to seeing it.

Cedar House Wellbeing Coordinator, Samantha, said: “I am really excited about the summerhouse as I know it will really benefit our Residents.”
