Resident and Colleagues at HC-One’s Silverwood care home in Beeston has now been vaccinated against coronavirus as part of the vaccine rollout across the UK.
Residents and Colleagues held positivity to the future as a friendly team from NHS Nottingham West came in to administer the vaccinations.
The day brought everyone together as everyone worked to support each other through their phobias in a big to keep everyone in the home safe.
And the icing on the cake, Residents could help themselves to as many cakes and cups of tea as they wanted.
The vaccine is currently being rolled out to Residents and staff in care homes under guidance from the Department of Health.
Silverwood Home Manager, Debra Meynell, said: “I’m so proud of our team and Residents in taking up the vaccine to help make the home safer and help the world get back to normal quicker.”
