Residents at HC One’s Willow Brook care home got out into the garden to enjoy the sunshine and a delicious BBQ.
On Thursday the 13th august, the Nottingham care home had a BBQ in the garden.
There was plenty of food to choose from including chicken, burgers, sausages, curried baked beans, jacket potatoes and chips. This was followed with a classic ice cream cone with different sauces and sprinkles, perfect for a hot summer’s day.
One of the Residents commented “the food was beautiful it really made a nice change.”
Colleagues at the home picked the best day for it as it was a lovely sunny day. All the Residents were out in the garden enjoying their food.
All the staff were involved including the management team. There were plenty of drinks available such as squash, wines and beer.
There was music playing out too, it was a wonderful day and enjoyed by everybody.
