Oldham care home Residents enjoy video callingResidents from HC One’s Avalon Park care home have been spending a lot of time making video calls.
This week some of the Residents at the Oldham care home have been thoroughly enjoying a video call with their family members.

It brought joy to many and happy tears to some overwhelmed family members. One Resident commented "video calls are smashing, I just saw my son".

Some Residents saw their much missed but loved pets, and it was clear to see that they were happy to see them once again.

Video calling is very important to the Residents at Avalon Park, the staff know how important this amazing technology is and has helped so many throughout this difficult time.

Video calling is available to all Residents - so if you have a modern smartphone, tablet, computer or laptop staff at the home can connect you to your loved ones.

John Fullen the homes wellbeing coordinator said “Video calls are vital in this present climate and we are happy to do what we can in the current situation to help you contact family members and stay in touch.”
