Today at Avandale Lodge care home in Lostock, Cheshire, they were getting well and truly in the spirit of Halloween by carving pumpkins.
Residents took it in turns to extract the inside seeds of the pumpkin, which some did not enjoy one bit but had a good laugh over it! Others found it quite a therapeutic task. One particular Resident said that she “absolutely loved it!”
A lovely afternoon was had by all and another Resident commented, “I had a super-duper day!”
