Lynnette, a Resident at HC One’s The Oakes care home, has finally been able to go home and reunite with her husband again.
Today the lovely Lynette has been told that she is leaving the Huddersfield care home and going back home to her husband.
Lynette came to The Oakes at the beginning of June for a short stay until a suitable 'at home' package was set up for her and her husband.
Lynette has described her holiday as a wonderful place to stay with excellent food and wonderful staff that have looked after her every need.
Her husband has visited her where possible and they have shared special moments with window visits until local lockdown has meant all visits had to cease.
Lynnette commented “I'm so happy I wondered where Steve had got to but now I can go with him!”
This will be a special day for them both and the staff and Residents at The Oakes would like to wish them both all the very best as they continue their life journey together.
The home manager said “It's wonderful when we can help someone continue their life journey in a way that is best suited to them.”
