Bob Ford, a Resident at Alexander Court care home, has celebrated his 100th birthday today.
Bob Ford hit 100 years young on the 4th August 2020, where he very much enjoyed a visit from his daughter at the Sheffield home.
He also enjoyed a drink in the homes very own ‘pub’, which he would have been in a real pub no doubt if it wouldn’t have been for the pandemic!
Bob commented “I do not want any fuss, I’ll just have a wine!”
Residents joined in with singing ‘happy birthday’ to Bob, and old photos of Bob were passed around as he told everyone about his much blessed and wonderful life he has led.
Bob also received a card from the Queen and certainly enjoyed posing for a few photos with it!
The home manager said “it is such an honour to have Bob living with us, he’s a lovely man. Happy 100th birthday Bob!”
