At Grosvenor park care home, in Bexhill-on-Sea, they have been busy making a calendar and the theme is musicals!
They are keeping the details and final pictures under their hats, but have shared some pictures of Residents enjoying getting ready for the Greatest Showman shoot as they are doing a different musical for each month of the year.
“We have all been having so much fun doing these and are loving the results,” explained, Jackie O'Callaghan, Home Manager.
The calendar is going to feature musicals that include The Sound of Music, Cats, South Pacific, Hairspray, The Phantom of the Opera, Calendar Girls and Singing in the Rain.
Residents including Moo, Margaret, Pam, Jean, Eileen, Elizabeth, Terry, June and Elaine all got involved and loved dressing up.
One commented, “It’s so good to have a giggle and be silly. I want to give the calendars to all of my family.”
Jackie went on, “The Residents and Colleagues had so much fun, it was a room full of laughter for every shoot we have done in the last month and a half.”
The calendars will be available for purchase by Residents, Relatives and Colleagues to raise money split between a charity of the Residents’ choosing, and for the Residents fund for special treats.
