Iris Andrews is a Resident at Maple Lodge care home and received a lovely surprise tea party for her 90th birthday.
Fellow Residents and Colleagues joined in to deliver a lovely day; she had lots of presents, cards and flowers and Colleagues at the home decorated it with balloons and banners. A huge helium-filled pink number nine and a zero were displayed next to Iris as she enjoyed a tasty ‘English Tea’ themed lunch.
Everyone sang Happy Birthday to her with a lovely cake, see pictured Iris (right) with fellow Residents Barbara Cochrane and Evelyn Williams.
Iris stated how she had a lovely day and how kind everyone had been.
Home Manager, Sarah Dodd, commented, “Iris certainly celebrated her 90th birthday in style and it was clear that she enjoyed the party we had.”
