Santa visits Wednesbury care homeSanta was out on Christmas Eve towing a sleigh full of presents on his visit to Residents at HC-One’s Dovedale Court care home in the West Midlands.

Colleagues at the care home were his helpers for the evening, passing out mince pies, sherry, wine and beer to Residents while everyone sang songs to get into the festive mood.

One Resident said: “It was such a lovely surprise and it was great to hear everyone laughing and singing.”

Managers at the home thanked Colleagues with a mince pie and a cake or two for all their hard work and commitment over the past year.

The evening carried on with a few tipples of sherry as everyone sang and received a Christmas message and a gift from Santa.

Dovedale Court Home Manager, Dawn Allen, said: “It was a great way to start Christmas celebrations and the sleigh was fantastic.
