Sharing happy memories at Sheffield care homeResidents have spent time playing games and reminiscing about their favourite memories at HC-One’s Swallownest care home in the village of Swallownest.

They spent one-on-one time with Colleagues playing a magnet game about adverts from the 1960s.

As they played the game, they told stories of their family and youth.

One Resident, Francis, spoke of the fond memories she had of her mother’s cooking, commenting: “I think my mum’s dumplings were the best ever.”

Some Colleagues spoke about how they were surprised with how good the Residents’ long-term memories are, spanning back all the way to their childhood.

Swallownest Home Manager, Amanda Fields, said: “One-to-one time is very important to our Residents and sharing their memories with us makes Residents so happy.”
