Sheffield care home Residents enjoy fun-filled Easter weekEaster week was a fun-filled week at Swallownest care home, in Sheffield as Residents had a range of activities which were taking place to choose from, and it created a lot of fun and laughter

Quite a few Residents took part in activities which were organised by Colleagues. One included an Easter bonnet competition which was judged by Resident Mary. The judging of the competition was taken very seriously and she looked at the Easter bonnet entries in great detail saying, “I am having great difficulty picking a winner as they are all excellent!”

See pictured baking is Beatrice shields, Phyllis Birbeck, wearing the Easter bonnet, and Leeta Chapman, holding an Easter egg.

Chrissie Mozley, fellow Resident, said, “I have the loveliest afternoon and have really enjoyed making my Easter bonnet!”

Amanda Fields, Home Manager, said, “The Residents worked so hard to create their bonnets and it was lovely to hear them singing."
