At HC-One’s The Beeches residential care home, on Tameside, over the past few days, Residents have enjoyed a variety of activities within the home.
Some enjoyed online entertainment on YouTube by performer Darren who sang songs from the 50s and 60s.
Everyone has also enjoyed the weekly game of bingo, this is a firm favourite for the Residents. They play for any five numbers on the card, and then for a full house, the winner chooses a prize from the ‘Treats Box, such as a magazine, sweets or chocolate.
Residents have enjoyed playing the new game of ‘Tin Can Alley’; being very competitive. Other activities are the music quiz and balloon tennis which is also a firm favourite.
Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “We try and offer a varied activities programme here at the Beeches to involve everyone. It’s nice that Residents look forward to the weekly bingo session and its always competitive.”
