Residents and Relatives at HC-One’s Stadium Court care home enjoyed a ‘Cowboy and Indians’ themed summer fayre recently.
Various stalls were in place for all to join in with, including a raffle, as well as live entertainment which was provided by singer Jennifer Greene whilst some Relatives began line dancing in the spirit of the theme.
Everyone enjoyed a BBQ lunch as well as various home made cupcakes and shortbread biscuits which were placed on sale to help raise money for the Residents’ fund.
The raffle was drawn as tickets had been sold, and various prizes were available to win as they had been kindly donated to the home by local companies. An amazing total of £910 was raised for the Residents’ comfort fund.
Trish McCaffrey, Home Manager, commented: “A wonderful day has been had by all, with everyone dancing together and enjoying themselves. We look forward to the next event we hold.”
